The Lord Browne Report and possible implications for Disability Studies in UK?

The Independent Review of Higher Education Funding and Student Finance, which was launched on the 9th November 2009, was finally published today. The review was tasked with making recommendations to the UK Government on the future of fees policy and financial support for full and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate students.

We draw attention to page 25 of the report, there is a distinction drawn between ‘priority’ courses (e.g. medicine, engineering, science) and ‘cheaper courses’.  Is Disability Studies in UK a ‘priority course’?
