|The Department for Education, Childhood and Inclusion has a wide remit with a commitment to enabling its graduates to work in a wide variety of roles, often, but not exclusively, in educational settings.
We are now looking for a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer with expertise in Education. You will primarily teach on the Education with Psychology and Counselling and Education Studies degrees, as well as the Foundation Degree/ Top Up in Education Learning Support.
Our aim is to provide the highest quality teaching and learning, through the delivery of lectures, seminars and some online learning, the design of curricula, and the development of our teaching team’s specialist skills. As a member of the team you would be expected to contribute to, and lead, some of these developments.
You must have a doctorate in a relevant discipline or close to completion and well developed and current knowledge and understanding of critical, practical and theoretical issues relevant to education. You must have experience of teaching, or supervising students and knowledge of one or more of the following
• Social Justice/ Inclusion
• Counselling/ Wellbeing
• Education Policy
• Quantitative Research Methods
